MANUAL THERAPY CERTIFICATION
Results Physiotherapy clinicians complete a manual therapy certification process through the Maitland Australian Physiotherapy Seminars (MAPS) during their first 2 years of employment. A series of 5 courses on basic and intermediate spinal and peripheral joint mobilizations, as well as a stabilization course are offered at no cost to the therapist. Upon successful completion of the courses the clinicians are eligible to sit a final exam and be awarded a manual therapy certification with the designation of Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist (COMT).
