Our clinicians are further educated through our new graduate programs, continuing education programs, and our mentoring programs in the manual therapy philosophies of Geoffery Maitland, Robin McKenzie, Stanley Paris, Brian Mulligan, and David Butler. The understanding of these different manual therapy approaches provides our therapist with the tools to accurately and efficiently assess and treat the cause of patients’ impairments and functional limitations. The utilization of manual therapy techniques allows patients to tolerate their prescribed exercises with less pain through the improved joint range of motion/accessory motion and/or reduction of painful muscle spasm or hypertonicity achieved with manual therapy techniques.
